Churn [ customer turnover in this industry is high, between 22% - 80% per year. Our turnover each year since 1998 has gotten smaller and smaller
and in 2002 it was 8%. There are various reasons for this but in a nutshell, you will never call our Network Operations Center and receive a voice mail
box but you will reach a live voice and that voice is not of a clerk that can only take your number and have an admin call you back, but it is the voice
of an administrator that can help you or connect you instantly with the Administrator that specializes in your specific issue.
We are have complete redundancy in every area:
100 Kilowatt Generators which are controlled by Transfer Switches which will
sense that city-supplied power has failed and in 30 seconds 100 kilowatts per Generator
are up and running using directly connected Natural Gas, combined with the fact that each
dedicated server is connected to an UPS [ Uninterruptible Power Source ] which gives each machine
a minimum of 10 minutes to as much as 30 minutes of uptime once direct power has gone down and
while the 30 second period during which the multiple 100 KiloWatt Generators are starting up, translates into
no way that Electricity can cause a server or website to go down.
Also, our All-Cisco™, Network: Built by us from the ground up to be self-healing and extremely fast: 100mbps and/or 1000mbps dedicated and switched ports are assigned to each segment, server or customer
Switch so any client who needs or wants their own dedicated line and/or dedicated LAN does not have to share
their bandwidth with other Clients on the Network, thus Speed, and bandwidth come first and you can have your
own dedicated/switched network which will exchange your business information securely from your LAN or Server
directly to one of our Core Cisco 12,000 or 7500 series Routers and which then connect directly to the tier 1 upstream
backbones such as:
Sprint™
UUNET™
Williams™ [Wiltel]
Global Crossing™
Qwest™
DS3 and OC3 connections which use BGP4 Protocol which causes the Core and Edge Routers to make split second decisions
as to which backbone has the least traffic at that moment as well as any problems being suffered on the multiple backbone connections
such as traffic overload, fiber cuts and any of many reasons that non Multi-Homed Networks are not able to do.
These are some of the most important examples of why our customers simply do not leave Genesis II Networks LLC once they have experienced
this level of service. There are many other reasons our clients stay with us, especially if they have come to Genesis II Networks LLC from other companies first.
Most of our competitors cannot or do not spend the time, money and effort to be able to provide this level of service.
Sure it took us years of learning and taking our profits and putting them back into the corp. and most importantly our management and administrators,
